ART DECO MACASSAR EBONY, BRONZE, BRASS AND GLASS SERVING CABINET France, circa 1930, unmarked Item # 111IXT03P An incredibly beautiful and finely crafted product of the Art Deco period, this serving table features a chaotic and brilliant Macassar Ebony veneer throughout that is flawlessly book-matched for a dramatic effect. It features a brilliant solid cast art glass handle with custom bronze rings that allow the left cabinet door to open, revealing a pair of adjustable shelves while the right door is glass and features a pair of adjustable glass shelves. The top features a thick piece of black glass inset in a brass rim - this was tastefully added and protects the top while allowing it to be used more flexibly as a serving cabinet without concerns about damaging the french polish. Measurements: 38 1/2" H x 18 1/4" D x 57" W Condition Report: Tin chip along the front lower edge of the base. Light scuffs to french polish, mostly on the top and other minor surface history and flaws. Glass top with brass surround is replaced. Glass shelves are replaced. A very crisp and refined presentation. Welcome to our shop! My name is Andrew Silla and my wife and I own and operate Silla, ltd in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
