Telegrafverket Gray Desk or Wall Mount Telephone - OsloTelegrafverket “Upside Down Phone” Model 11AB12=-4. Convertible phone, meaning it can be either a desk or a wall. It was made in Norway or Sweden and used in the pre-World War II days of the 1940’s. High quality construction with reversible dialer (two finger stop notches in housing) and soldered dialer connections. Thermoplastic housing and handset. No cracks in housing. (Receiver cap has a hairline crack not easily visible) with minor use scratches. Phone still works great, rings and has been converted to standard modular plug. Housing opens easily to reverse the dialer if needed with just a screwdriver. Dimensions are 7 1/2 ” x 6” x 5” and weighs just over 4 lbs before shipping.
