Only five screws to install. Very nice think tempered glass is a big bonus on a low glass table. We have owned several glass coffee tables and some of them have been destroyed by people falling on them. The danger of not having tempered glass is not worth it and replacing a tempered piece can cost as much as this table does as a whole. The finish quality is very nice and the set-up is only about 10 minutes including removing the left-over packaging trash. This table is gorgeous. Very simple and elegant. It has a very modern look. This table is gorgeous. Very simple and elegant. It has a very modern look. Assembly took less than 10 minutes, including removing it from the packaging. The glass top is tempered glass. It is very heavy. The glass adheres to the base frame with 4 small suction cups. Only issue I encountered was trying to find the hardware for assembly. This table was fairly easy to assemble. The legs attach together in the center where the 'X' occurs, then attach to the circular frame and the glass sits on top of that. All hardware + Hex is included with diagram.1) You get 2 legs that you put a screw in where they crossover.2) With the metal support circle on the ground, lower the legs so they line up with the 4 screw holes.3) Using Hex wrench fasten 4 screws where legs & support circle come together.4) Put legs on the ground , insert the 4 suction cups & put glass on top -FINISHED!I am happy with this excellent table and like that its sturdy and the glass top is very thick. I love this coffee table! The gold tone finish and marble-like finish on the top is very stylish. I put this table together in less than 10 minutes. I have my table in my 800sq ft apartment that I share with 130lb dog and it’s held up very well for the last 4 months. I would suggest being careful with moving the box this product comes in as the table legs will warp/bend if something heavier is placed over it
